HOLIDAY CRANBERRY SAUCE
In this video, I teach you how to make the best holiday cranberry sauce! Whether you plan to use it alongside your turkey, ham, or other side dishes, this recipe is sure to step up your holiday meals!
INGREDIENTS
1 lb Fresh or Frozen Cranberries
½ Cup (60g) Dried Cherries
1 Sprig Rosemary
½ Cup Tart Cherry Juice
¾ Cup (150g) Sugar
1 ½ Cups Water
Salt (to taste)
STEPS
Add all of the ingredients to a medium sized pot or saucepan over medium to low heat.
Bring the mixture to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
Continue to simmer until the cranberries have burst to make a thick sauce (approx. 25-30 mins).
Once the sauce is thick enough to coat your spoon, remove the pot from the burner.
Discard the rosemary sprig and set the sauce aside to cool for at least half an hour.
Transfer the sauce to a blender or food processor and blend.
Strain the sauce through a fine mesh strainer over the top of a bowl.
Work the sauce through the strainer using a spatula to extract as much liquid as possible.
